Great minds think alike. I just ordered USA GT40 a couple of nights ago for my California car (due to arrive week of May 15!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!).

I couple of other plates I came up with - all are available in California;

GT ISBAK
RIP 4RE
43 INCHS
HT FOBIA

I kind of liked "height phobia" as a second choice.

Just ordered 06 GT40, for the one i'm going to buy.
 
I was going to get PETUNIA in NJ but ultimately decided I didn't really need to be making it easier for somebody to rember my plates. I took the other tact and engaged a consumer research company to determine which plate is the least memorable.
