It's a Mercedes Benz owned by an Abu Dhabi
(oil billionaire - naturally).

Featuring the newly developed V10 quad turbo
with 1,600 horsepower and 2800nm of torque
0-100km/h in less than 2secs, 1/4 mile in 6.89 secs
running on biofuel.

That is NOT stainless steel; it is WHITE GOLD!

I call BS on the 6.89 ET....

I doubt if any of the acceleration numbers are correct with the car as pictured. Can't do that no matter what the HP and TQ numbers are if you can't get the power to the road.

I call BS on all the statements in the first post.

Well, I'm glad to see my GAS MONEY is going to a worthy cause...:bored

ya, that car cant do that....may A car with 1600 hp can, but not that one.

four digit license plate?:biggrin. if he was anybody important would have been two!

And its definitely a wrap - not stainless or white gold

Seen these?

The initial question was "have you seen one of these?". I think several neighbors have these. I see them all the time driving around town. :rofl:rofl

My initial reation is Holy Cow(C--p). I cannot imagine white gold, but hey if its real, that would be amazing!

I detect a little sarcasm!

This gal was shown some time ago; around the Gumball 3000 timeline and at that time I was told that the finish is one of the latest plastic film products; as chrome.

Here is another example located in the same part of the world;

Now as for it being white gold; nuff said

I am also skeptic of the white gold, wrap?, maybe. I found this companies chrome product at SEMA for another project ( 1960 El Camino, of all things) for a potential base under candy. Any thoughts? www.alsacorp.com

My take on it.

I am also skeptic of the white gold, wrap?

Gentlemen,

Although I don't have access to their archives there has never been any records come to light of Mercedes-Benz having produced such an automobile. The unibody of this Mercedes-Benz is a highly stressed, structural, loadbearing component supporting the suspension system, engine, transmission, etc. Even in highly alloyed form, white gold would be unsuitable and unsafe for the body of this automobile.

Many of our members have seen the copper bodied Kirkham Cobra that the brothers produced up in Utah. That copper Cobra is only possible because those body panels are not loadbearing and are mounted to a 4 inch round tubular frame that supports the suspension components, engine, and transmission. I would bet $1000 to a doughnut that the alleged white gold car photos and stories accompanying it are an internet hoax.

My dad showed me this exact chain email... he believed it too. I had to bring him back to reality :)

Chrome would be great in the desert, it would reflect all the sunlight and the car would be and nice comfy 60 degrees all the time :wink:bs

Same finish McLaren uses on their F1 race car is all this is, mechanicals are standard McLaren SLR.
