9 GTs running at Mecum Saturday Jan 15th in Kissimmee. 3 surprisingly at No Reserve. And some interesting estimates: $650k-$750k for the '06 Heritage! 😮 ... and they're expecting more for the 3600-mi black/white FGT than the 755-mi red/white FGT ... and waaay more for the 139-mi '06 red/white FGT than the 755-mi '05 red/white FGT. And $200k range on the '19 red no-stripe.

I'm going, but only Fri 1/7 - Sat 1/8. Maybe I'll see some of you there.

Curious.

Do auction pre-estimates have anything to do with the seller's expectations?

Couple corrections for your spreadsheet.

1st "Black and white" is black and silver (the factory combo) Listing says gray, but does not suggest a repaint, so Im guessing its silver..
2nd "black and white" at least by the link you posted, is actually blue and white.

my prediction- seems a little high on the black and blue cars and a little low on red Heritage.

That's a nice assortment of beautiful GTs!

Prices seem to have flattened a little with the colder weather, I wonder if it will continue or heat up with the new year.
I think they will start to take off again with the new year and the continued EV announcements such as the R8 etc. we’ll see

All those cars and hardly any miles. Hope the sellers make a lot of money because they missed the boat on a good time.

The black/silver stereo set up is sweet. I wonder if there's a back-up camera too.

It Should...I have the same setup in mine backup cam, apple CarPlay ETC depending on what head unit you choose....u can buy the setup from M2K in Houston..they make the dash/headunit frame that looks OEM....

Yep, my car came with one of these in Carbon Fiber. Kevin needs to adjust it though so I should take it in.

2 years ago, BJ Scottsdale was the epicenter that kicked off the current price increases. I had a knot in my stomach watching because I thought I started seriously looking too late.

BJ is still building the list but so far there are two NGTs and one 05.

From Kissimmee yesterday including commission....
The estimate listed (650-750k) was spot on.

$1.32m for an 18 heritage.
$1.43m for a 1936 White national parks bus???!!!!

Mecum did $70m yesterday with an 80% sell through. Watched a lot yesterday via the stream, there were a lot of strong numbers, GT's were no exception.

Seemed like prices were way up on everything at Mecum, especially on GTs. Raise your hand if you saw this coming. Who would have thunk a $139,000. dollar Ford would bring more than many "European" exotics. (I did). I'll bet they ALL need a replacement Power Steering hose. I have some. Call me

I got back on this forum after binge watching the recording of the Mecum auction. To me it seems like prices are way up. My take is that some of it is inflation, some of it may be people pulling out of other investments that don't do as well as cars when there is high inflation. Some of it is the huge increase in the money supply.

I think the increase of the 05/06 cars will continue.

How long until they hit 1 million ?

I watched the bus go through the auction, smiling all the way. Recently rode in the Yellowstone equivalent, so cool! Based on the history, why not ?!?!

The day will come when you'll say
"I remember when I could buy cheap, an 05/06 for only 400K+"
When they're all over 1 mil+

Its definitely not as buyers market!

Crazy prices. Surely Saturdays' Mecum results affected today's BaT result ... but how much did its MSO status matter? Were bidders willing to pay ~$100k more to be able to say "I'm the original owner"? (or prob more likely, to still not title it and be able to flip it as a brand new car?)

My question is.Will the new GT's go up in value like the o5/06 cars?
