I thought I would share a photo of my latest project. I'm sure many will not agree that pulling a trailer behind a GT just isn't right and is against God's law but then again why not? My wife and I would like to take the car on weekend outings but no where to store overnight bags so this was my solution. I custom built a class I hitch which was pretty simple that does not affect the originality or intregrity of the car itself. I can remove it with the help of another in 5 minutes. Basically sandwiches between the rear bumper bar and the rear frame plates, no drilling or altering done. I hope you guys enjoy the photos. Jan Byrd.

That's slick. Easy on easy off. No permanent modifications, plenty strong for a trailer that size.... when do you go into production?:biggrin

What I would like to know is how fast do you go when you are towing. Driving a FGT at the mandated 55MPH towing speed limit in CA would be painful!

I think that if a cop sees a GT going by pulling a trailer he is going to forget his radar readings completely. Think? J Byrd.

Can't be done.

Gentlemen,

I can't stand towing at 55 mph in California with my GT IN a trailer. On my way to Shadowmans place I towed at 70 the whole way. Radar detector helped a lot. At 55, I would still be on the road! :willy

AZ to Texas & back I towed at 85 most of the time. The very light Trailex really let's you haul as*!!
