GT Getaway Weekend 3- The Southern Tour

Wish you could be here too. BUT it's not to late. Ever hear of a RENTAL CAR? They are usually the fastest ones on the track. (As long as you get optional insurance)

I guess fate had it's plans made well in advance, Rich. It snowed 18" today and it hasn't stopped yet.

I'd have never gotten home....

What a great couple of days so far. Thanks to Chip, and Partssman Kirk, our Friday night pre rally cook out was a smash hit. More good food and friends than believable. :thumbsup

The people at Inde Motorsports Ranch went above and beyond in making our day on the track something special. We had Kai Goddard, pro driver, at our side the whole day, riding and driving our cars on the track and sharing his experience with us. Best part of the day for me was when Chip and Kai, with Kai driving Chips car, passed a couple of Porsche Cup Cars at triple digit speeds. Thought the Porsche's were head lights were being sucked out. Dinner at the track was beyond compare. Ribs beyond compare. Thanks to Kai, John, and the whole crew at Inde. We will be back.

I know our resident photog, Rene, will post much better pics, here are a few I took. Another full day on Sunday.

Looks like a great time and good weather.

Wish I could have joined you folks!

I think Chip was a little overwhelmed by this 1hp GT coach (1.04 hp on alfafa).

Judging by the shadows, I think that's at least a 2 HP machine (Go ahead, call me a "horse's ass"). In the old days, most were either 4 HP or 6 HP.
