GT Competition Series

Question. Does the competition model still have a center display? It kind of looks like it does in the configurator. But the screen is dark so maybe that space has been filled in?

Not sure about the display, but as there is no radio, no backup camera and no Sync system, I'm not sure what it would do.

Isn't there still some basic car configuration answer display info on the screen?

How about a track info screen using GPS, data logging, etc? It only makes sense for a track focused model.

Perhaps I'm an outlier, but I don't like built-in tech gadgets like that. They seem to become outdated very quickly.

Ford Performance app. It's out already for Android (I think), iOS later this year.

I should've known Ford would be on top of it! Cool!

There is no display. It's a blank plate like the GT350R has.

Got it. Thanks. Hopefully a nice carbon fiber blank plate. ;)

Some functions could possibly be relocated to the gauge cluster display.

That's would appear to be the case but the instrument panel is typically not a touch panel. Maybe it is transferred to an external app.

If the 3rd yr offered the 350R 5.2 flat crank with turbos with AC and 150lb more with a conservative 150 more hp who would wait ? All I bet lol . Just saying mile car winner with small mods . You guys are like a kid in a candy store from a outside guy looking in that got turned down.

A new video from Michelin.

Billy Johnson driving the Competition GT and Dirk Mueller driving the WEC racing GT...at Sebring.

Found pics on internet of a non-original Heritage GT being readied for air transport in Canada. Interesting feature is the competition rear window (4th pic.). The hatch does not seem to be competition, so just the rear window.

Possibly just heat sink testing or an undisclosed option?

Old pic. Not an option. Just testing.

Does anyone know if the Competion Series can be delivered (outside USA) with a factory fitted racing harness? If yes, what brand will it be, or is the harness unbranded? The seats have the slots for a racing harness, and the monocoque the fitting points, so can't imagine this car without red racing seatbelts.

Competition series is not available outside USA, unfortunately
