GM and Chrysler in talks to merge?

Apparently GM believes that picking up Chrysler legacy cost, product duplication, excess mfg. capacity, dealer exposure, warranty & product liability are a lesser evil than continuing to own 49% of GMAC. For its part, Cerebus must believe there is opportunity to remedy some of the exposure at GMAC through the federal bailout, which might sweeten the acquisition -- or -- Bob finally figured out he has no idea of what he is doing in automotive and wants out. Either way, bonus time for Bob.

still holding on to my GM stock

but I have a new use for it... as do the local Texas dealers.////

bony, perhaps if they merge we will get a Corviper or a Viperette blended sports car?

How about a Hemi Camaro?

Or a Chevy Ram R/T-SS Hybrid

SRT10 Hemi-Malibu ???

the corvette will soldier on and the viper will die. the new merger will build an all new hot rod. if it looks hotter than hell i will buy it, otherwise forget it.

will the new car be considered illegitimate, or will there be a proper ceremony?
