Genaddi's answer to storage

I think it is a good idea to hear opinions either way. It opens a lot of eyes, and everyone can see the validating points of others and then make up their own mind. Things I've done, and will do, are almost considered Taboo to many. Did I care, hell no.

For those that want trunk space, this is a god send. For those that keep this as a toy and will never take it elsewhere overnight, this is a rediculous mod. It is definately nice to have choices.

Hell, I hope everyone personalizes their car, and does what they want.
Who wants to go to a rally, and every car they see is exactly the same? Granted, the GT is beautiful, but how many times can you look into different cars and see the same thing, over and over and over again.

Gentlemen:
Please take a look who started this thread. It is a paying supporting sponsor who is here to promote their product. When our sponsors start a thread these thread require special handling. Intelligent on topic questions are appropriate and welcome. When someone asks something off topic (such as how many shipments will FEDEX make?), or as it a rarely happens on this site, but frequently on others they need to be reeled in as diplomatically as possible, if needed their post should/will be deleted.
Again, sponsors need to be treated with the same courtesy that you would treat a potential vendor calling on your business or home.
Well that my 2 cents,... and I have the potential of hitting xxxxing delete button:lol
Happy Sunday,
Daniel

Bony, in the past I was guilty of replying negatively to threads started by vendors selling products for the GT and have submitted my humble apologies. My thoughts are if the post is in "Sale or products" groups, then it should not be criticized. However this posted was to discussions. What type of discussions are all one sided? I agree we should not be overly negative or sarcastic, but an honest option should always be welcomed.

no apology needed... your ass-exactly right. Hell, I have done the same, and when I look at some of my past posts, I regret some of my remarks. After all the internet brings out the best and worst in people.

There is plenty opportunity to start your own thread on anything. Here is where I am coming from, if for example IDA or HEFFNER or ACUFAB starts a thread, it should be their's, links to other vendor's threads, comments to suggest a buyer go to another thread are really unfair. Listen, we all are driving expensive toys, are big boys and can do our due diligence. I do believe this site is dedicated to GT lovers and owners. I think I am on the same page with you and the majority of owners. Simple rule, write anything that you could say infront of your father to someone else.

Trolls just create issues that destroy the camaraderie that we have. They need to be moderated. We have been lucky on this site, because there have been very few deleted posts and only a couple of banned people.

Cheers,
daniel

As a vendor I would like to thank Bony, DBK and Shadowman for speaking up when bashing starts about one thing or another. This really is a very hard business model when you look at it from a manufactures stand point. I mean really, there aren’t that many cars that options will affect. The investment to design, develop and produce these options is a real issue. The costs may well go beyond the money they will generate, as in any business profit is not guaranteed and not to mention everything is warranted for three years or 36,000 miles.

I think something you might all like to know is that Mark spent a fair amount of time with and around the SVT team leaders and vendors. Nearly everything that Genaddi Design Group has developed for the GT was not only born out of necessity to make the GT a World class sports car but these options were talked about during the development of the GT. For reasons of total development dollars, time the original production was to be in place and time to market. Only the bare essentials were developed for the car. Adjustable seating, storage, trunk, two piece rotors, adjustable shocks, trans cooler and the short throw shifter where all part of the original discussions by the team but the closer push came to shove these were things that it was deemed the client could do if they wanted, after they received their car.

So, if performance is all you are interested in, there are several great shops that can help you, including Genaddi Design Group. If making the car more usable for today’s world is on your agenda then we are the ones to see.

Thank you for coming back into the thread after it went a bit sideways.

You hit the proverbial nail on the head "the client could do if they wanted after they received their car". This is what the world of personal cool cars is all about; the OEM presents a platform on which many (including myself) twist and tweak.

Well, with all this bashing talk, I hope nobody took anything I wrote as bashing. I tried to be objective and actually welcomed new products, as I do not like everyone to have the same looking car. Yogi, if you took anything I said as inflammatory, please accept my apology. As I said, while this mod is not something I would personally do, I also said that there are people that would want this and would consider it a god send.

Keep the products coming. This is the best place to annouce new products and don't let anything that happens here stop you.

Just be sure to let me know when you have more Carbon Fiber interior options available!

On the subject of bashing, Rocman, nothing you wrote was taken as such. We know everything we make will not please everyone. We have endured our share of bashing, honest and well spoken opinions are not bashing. Someday something we make will be what you want... Stay tuned!

Thank you Miss Manners.

600 if each one cost $20 each. What does this have to do with this modification. :frown

We have a supporting sponsor offering a modification. Either this modification appeals to you and is a worthwhile expense or not. So far only one firm is designing special products for our GT. Lets treat them with the same respect and manner as any vendor would be treated that comes to your office wanting to earn your business.:biggrin ok?

Bony- aka as Ms Manners:lol

i was sitting here reading the responses to this thread thinking the same thing myself bony :frown thanx to you for posting this reply and helping people to realize the error of their ways :thumbsup

Thanks Bill, we are blessed to have you on this board, your credentials are amazing, and your willingness to share is superb, not to discount the fact that you are a skilled communicator. I know you share the desire of most of us to keep this board as 'a special place.'

Bony you know only too well how I feel about the gals and this Forum. Both are wonderful examples of what can be accomplished when ego's and attitudes are left at the door.

Thank you for the kind words

All the best my friend
