guys,

how do you handle the front license plate? I don't see how i can put it on in a decent way without devastating the front . Has anybody picks on how they managed the problem?

These folks make the perfect piece. It screws in to the tow hook hole. No drilling. (that's my car on their web site).

I got the answer. DONT PUT ONE ON! :)
Now, if you get a ticket, I never made this statement.....

I got a ticket for no front plate !I did beat the ticket because I was able to show them the front plate set up mentioned!! Now I just leave it in the trunk. If I get pulled over . I just say Iam coming from a car show

EP didn't have a front plate and never got hassled. A non-issue! At least for EP.

This one wasn't a flame, just the facts.

1. You didn't have a front plate.
2. You never got stop by a LEO for lacking a front plate.

I was trying to be nice and left out the reason why you were never stopped.

Yep, you can read my mind. :biggrin

Lux, this is how mine is fixed. Revolve (in the UK) have made a bracket that sits under the front splitter and is glued in place. It looks very neat. It's a smaller than legal plate, but I've never been stopped.

I don't put on any plates, leave the temporary sticker in the front windshield. No one knows the car was discontinued in '06, they all assume it's new.

I hope it is a strong glue for those spirited runs. 200 mph winds can generate brutal forces on the license plate.

Well here in Benelux they don't laugh with license plates
A few years ago I drove a Hummer with license plates of another car After 5 km that is 3 miles I was pulled over by the cops.
I'm looking for a personalised license plate ACAB 007 (All Cobs Are Bastards)

SO i will not try it without front plate

Ohio is a "front plate" state. I have more than 24 cars, none have front plates. (Been this way for 10 years). I've never been stopped or hassled. Don't ruin your car with a front plate!!!

It's very strong - I've driven at 198 with no problem.

I never have gone that fast, always obeying the laws of man and nature. I hope to fix that problem during Rally IV.

:huge:

I was going for the magical 200, but it was raining and I ran out of nerve....

Another day maybe. :wink
