Ford Performance Heritage

Imagine that. Going from SEMA and BONY cocktails to installing a water heater. I'm betting you're supposed to have a building permit and 20 or so inspections (all for separate fees) but don't :) I've been replacing water heaters for 40 years and never had to do that except now they use it as a revenue generating stream. Do you have to have earthquake restraints there? We do in Vegas. My CO ones were free standing on the floor.

Permits for just about everything. How else can we hope to pay for all that municipal expertise that is sitting on their.....

Hope to get them out next week to inspect the work so they won't sell my house at auction to recover their $50 fee. ;-))

The bodywork is Mustang...

Dave, is this CONFIRMED? :lol

Looks like it will have some really trick suspension components too.

Paul - now cut that out. You must have been unmanageable as a kid at Christmas time! lol

You have no idea Rex.

The most revealing of the 3 vids so far. Recaro sport seats, Brembo's, some CF bits. As Paul has already nerdily deduced, this is the next GT350.

The dialog mentions forced induction several times. I thought the GT350 was going to be an NA 5.2L flat plane crank V8? Is this stating something changed from that?

0:23 "These fun vehicles....and we're just getting started on that."

0:28 "These are very track credible vehicles..."

11-17-14 is not the whole show. It's just the beginning.

Thanks DBK. Heard you loud and clear.....

I think I saw a single section driveshaft where the 15 stangs still use a two piece - which itself is a bit of a mystery when you fix the rear diff in a modern IRS.

. . .this is the next GT350.

Nice going Ed. Spoil the surprise for everyone.

The transmission looks like a Tremec case. That is good news.

Those front fenders look mean.

Those front fenders look mean.

(Motor Trend review). It's the attention to detail that can be a real killer - now the body and rear tires are just too wide, the car will not fit in an automatic car wash...;-))

And how is that relevant? Raptor wont either.....

Monday.... You don't like the game? I've broken down, and enjoy the silliness

Show us the damn car already.

There were also words in the video something about "we've lowered the hood..." etc that infer a derivative design based on something else. It would be pretty difficult to lower the hood of the Ford GT any more than it already is.
