Sweet! I saw Stormcat's at the rally, that's a great spot for livery. A real eye catcher.

Nice !! The colors fit your car.. I stayed with the black and white theme. I would recommend putting clear bra over the entire logo.. Good Job .. cool is cool..:thumbsup

Brian is like MacGyver. He has this ingenious car cover system set up on the top of a four post lift. The car is lifted up into the cover.

I would replace ingenious with lazy. I hate taking car covers on and off...:biggrin

Great idea!

Hydraulic leak fixed?

All better. O-ring and main hydraulic line issue. Sanderson Ford sent out a truck and their trailer, brought it to Phoenix, fixed it up, and delivered it back to Sedona. All ready for next weeks' Mojave Spaceport Shootout. Practiced a couple of Launch Control starts. Funny thing, I had way fewer pictures taken of me by other cars when driving back to Arizona, than on the way out. Oh, in the rental Cherokee that Ford provided me to get home.

I'm sure Arlette had a good snooze.

For those still active in engineering and thinking....is carbon fiber (as in the new GT) as reflective to radar, or would it serve to reduce the signature and distance it can be tracked at? No front license plate or headlight reflectors for laser, and not much in the way of perpendicular surfaces. Are we stealth?

Ha ha, I like the way and appreciate the way you think, but when I was driving home from Rally 11, in Missouri, the LEO got out and said "The plane couldn't clock you so they sent me after you."

a few pics for this thread.

Barry,

Carbon Fiber and Fiberglass do not reflect radar. It passes right through. Other metal components in the car will reflect it and give an accurate reading but you'll need to be a lot closer than a metal body car. For decades Corvette owners have known that their cars are a lot stealther to radar than Mustangs and Camaros.

Chip & FlagstaffGT - Thanks. I never knew that about mom-metal parts of cars.

06fordgt - cool photos, I like that color in that light even more!

What’s the total 2017 Ford GT Count up to now since Chip just received his this week?

Has to be 50 now I.would think.

My car, which was delivered was the 50th vehicle. Chis and 2 others were still in the trailer. They would have been 51, 52 and Chips would be 53.
