You know this already, but for others, the famous powder blue and orange Gulf livery came from the Wilshire Oil Company of California, which Gulf Oil acquired.

Wow. That's some cool trivia.

I need help posting a photo, can anyone please explain that to me. thanks

Your file size is probably too large. I use "paint" to resize the pix to something around 500 vertical pixels (horriz will auto populate based on the aspect ration of the photo).

Check this Livery! I think this would be a knock out KILLER on a New Ford GT! I love it! Could be done with a combination wrap or paint!

Not sure it's the same car but IMO this is the best 19 seconds of sound on YouTube!

Help needed finding the link to adding a new GT to the registry?

Go to post 999 under this post and click on and will take you to where you add your New GT.

Ok, so a little over 3 years ago I paid a nerd to come up with an online registry format in anticipation of the need for this thread. Ended up not very user friendly, and couldn't find any other decent web-based solution that would allow people to browse the cars online in an easy manner.

There's such a huge variety in these vehicles that I think it's a useful application. Online links go dead. A lot. Half the pics in this thread are already toast. These will not go dead because I will pay to keep them from going dead. Works great, looks pretty good, has the freedom to make only specific information visible to the general public.

I will be refining it over time but figured I would put it online with 50 records in. Maybe some day down the road it will be of some utility. I have a lot more that need some revisions and some that wish to stay incognito so they just won't be displayed period. You can filter it by color, interior, wheels, stripes, no stripes, etc. Whatever you like so you can compare and contrast or just see all the crazy stuff people are coming up with. Owners can submit their own data.

Is there a way to get back in and edit the information I entered?

Good one Tom.

Really fun video of Harry's NFGT

Thanks for posting, fun video!

Love the enthusiasm from our LeMans driver. Excellent specs

That was a great video! Just two guys who love cars, one of whom happens to race the GT for CGR! Loved his comment about what the road car did at Spa with a passenger an hour before qualifying on the pole with the race version. Love this car! Cant wait!!!!

Cool Vid!! Harry’s enthusiasm is infectious!! Aaaand, he’s right!! Funny comment that Harry should drive his GT to Le Mans, get in the Race GT, win Le Mans, then drive his GT home. And retire!! Cuz nothing could top that!! Haha!! Awesome!! Congratulations Harry T.!! Well deserved!!

Harry’s testimony is by far the best review of this car to date. I’m not sure if it’s his performance perspective of the race car vs road car or the British flair I enjoyed hearing more! Thank you so much for sharing.

Looks great with the dark stripe separating the 2 body colors and the orange wheel spokes!
