FGT on it's side but no accident.

must be some heavy duty clamps!

Seems like a hell of a way to get a loose nut out your belly pan. :rofl

So is this known as the file-folder garage storage system:rofl?

BTW, who cleans up the fluids?

im surprised no one has said how easy it would be to work on the bottom of the car that way, I think I need one these set ups:biggrin

I read the big boss was there.

Mr. Allan Mulally from Ford was there to see the Mustang faithful. He also watched the Mustang Challenge Race, the series continues to improve and now they are getting 20+ entries at most events.

I saw another car on that lift thing at SEMA I was amazed at the simplicity of the thing. Sure makes for a awesome display. One of you guys with more cars than you can drive should set one up in your garage.

Hell if i had that lift then I would be waxing the bottom of the car too?

That is pretty scary I bet the owner wasn't able to sit and watch it lol.

Check out this TPRACEMAN post of today http://www.fordgtforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=14993
looks like the same car

They apparently use these often to show their cars.

Here are some pictures from other Ford events - I found them on the SVTOA forum....

Yes me too, I was wondering how I was going to Simonize the bottom and Armor All the tires where they contact the ground, by gosh now I know.

Also this pic reminds me of one of the original Daytona Coupes hanging on the side of the trailer ramp.

You know something just dawned on me....

Who will be the first to make the GT into an Amphibian?????

I think it's been done, but referred to as a salvaged title.

GT on Side.

Hello, I was also there from FL. Brought two cars, 68 1/2 Cobra Jet Fastback and 68 GT500KR. The GT was VIN# 400006 #6 car in production 2005. Also had the 2008 Cobra Jet Drag car there FR500CJ #M01. Mule # 1 car. Great show. I have pictures of the GT and VIN just don't know how to post.

Ford GT # 5-0006

Here are some of the pics that Dave (68Rcodeman) took of the Ford GT on its side at the Mustang 45th Anniversary Show in Birmingham:

Dave also took the time to verify the VIN number. Pretty interesting how many Ford GTs that Ford is still displaying at car shows.
But, I guess it makes sense....it's still....The ONE!

The first photo on this tread is off of Fords web site. I get a monthly web letter from them telling of new stuff going on.:thumbsup
