The F620 GT's 6.3-liter V12 will produce 740 horsepower and 690 pound-feet of torque, making it the most powerful twelve-cylinder engine ever made by Ferrari. With a redline of 8,700 rpm, this powerplant will move the Italian grand tourer to 60 miles per hour in 3.1 seconds and 100 mph in 8.3 seconds. It's also lighter, lower and shorter than the 599 it's replacing.

Whoa nellie! Incredible.

I am going to Italy in June and the last three days will be spent with a group of 20 people driving 10 Ferraris through the area where the Mille Miglia used to run. In addition we will tour the Ferrari Factory and drive on their in house race/test track.

Not sure yet exactly what cars we will be trading off and on, but I'll keep my fingers crossed one will this beast.

The rear end looks like an Infiniti SUV...... Not a fan of back half of car.

I'm taking the family to Italy this summer. May see you there Kevin.

That thing is as butt ugly as the Porsche Panamera. :thumbsdow

What has happened to Ferrari? Such a shame.

Interesting to see what happens to the prices on the 599.

Wow the Ferrari GT car styling is so bad. I can't stand any of the front engine cars they have made in the last 10+ years. This one is awful.

:agree:

pretty awful IMHO too. It's not as fugly as the FF or Panamera, but it's no 458 (though some may know I'm partial to 458s for the moment)

Front engine Ferrari? Are they trying to make civilian vehicles? How long before they do a SUV?

Lambo did an SUV a while back

How do I get invited to an event like that? Sounds heavenly!

I guess I'm an outlier since I sort of like the 599 and this new one.

That's what I was obliquely referring to ...

I saw a black FF with black wheels last week. First one I have seen in person. I gotta say.....I kinda liked it. Looked like a Batmobile. Anyone else like it? I will try to find the pic.

Accept for 2 years Ferrari have always had a front engine car available.

If the 740hp is coming from a normally aspirated engine, then that truly is impressive.

John

I am sure it will be a great car, but not sure how you could get one knowing that you coud have an Aventador instead.

Not their best design work, but I actually dig that front 3/4 view and the side is cool too. They have a front fascia problem but this would be one hell of a GT car. 2 seconds faster than an Enzo around Fiorano. Obviously it will be massively fast in a straight line. Sounds amazing. F1 tail light is a nice touch. I give it thumbs up.

I'm with you DBK, I like the looks until the rear end. Hopefully one will show up this summer at Cars & Coffee in Irvine so we can see it live and snap some pictures to share with the gang.

Regarding my Ferrari drive in June, I've been a member of an international business group for many years called YPO (Young Presidents' Organization). I'm sure many of you are YPO, WPO or CEO members, or have been in the past.
The event is being organized by two Italian YPOers. Two days after getting home from Rally 6 in August, I saw this opportunity and it took all of about 12 seconds to register my wife and I.
