EPA has withdrawn proposed regulations prohibiting conversion of automobiles into race cars, amid serious outcry :-)

Most of the publications and notices I've received, while happy that the regulation as been temporarily withdrawn, are very leery about the leaving the subject in the hands of the EPA and the White House.

Consequently, most of us are supporting the HR 4715/S 2659 bills in Congress, the "Recognizing the Protection of Motorsports Act of 2016, or "RPM Act" which will protect our rights. I encourage you to also support these bills by contacting your representatives and senators.
