Have you seen what license plates sell for in the middle east???!!! I am a license plate guy, but only for low numbers (no letters), I'm not into vanity plates.

it is a status symbol there! low number plates that is, in dubai you know when their sheikh is driving cause you see the number 1 on his plate.

MA auctions/lotteries low numbered plates every year... Some have been in families since they were first issued.
