What is the going rate ?

#1233
Original owner
26K miles
All logged miles with a log book
Extra set of BBS
Upgraded Ford Pulley
Muffler delete with X-pipe
3 stage tune
** some may consider it to have history, me.... I don't know.

But she has been featured in:
-Playboy with the Centerfold
-Taken to dinner by Tanner Foust in a TOP GEAR commercial
-Surrounded by the Top Gear cast in their commercials
-Some rather famous photos taken by Anatol Kotte

WHY?
Opportunity to possibly speed up retirement at 49 instead of 55/65
Maybe trying to exit corrupt Hollywood on my own terms LOL

We will see ;)

Ha, don't you have grandkids by now? Long time no see. Look at Bring a Trailer to see what prices are doing on low mileage cars. No real higher mileage cars have been out.

In July I had a PPI done on this $310k 25k-mi red car https://www.grautogallery.com/vehicles/10677/2005-ford-gt

... which has some mods including no cats, and without the OEM parts, and when I learned what it would take/cost to obtain the parts to put the exhaust back to factory for a future owner needing to register it in a nanny state, I offered them a lower price and they seemed perturbed so I passed ... and within 2-3 weeks it was marked Sold.

And this 32k-mi black stripe-delete GT sold 10 months ago for $210k https://bringatrailer.com/listing/2006-ford-gt-25/ ... but it seems like the market has increased over that period.

I have all of the OEM parts and I'm just considering... LOVE MY GAL, but sometimes the thought of a new adventure is exciting :)

The new GT has consumed many of us. Quite a changeover in owners.

Yeah, I bet, but I am happy to see that the passion continues.... I think the wind was taken away after Bony passed and I (as I just told a member in a PM) just faded away, while coming back and checking in every couple of years or so.

But hey, maybe this thread will enforce the reason not to get rid of her and I'll be back posting :) LOL

I should do a Where the heck have I been thread :)

I'll definitely look into it. I have sold a couple of cars on BaT

Would NOT sale 05-06 GT. In my mind the one to keep long term! Analog, manual! Maintenance and reliability can’t be beat for modern super cars! NFGT reliably to be seen, repairs a challenge going forward. Already have seen NFGTs selling their 05-06 , and going back.
I do not believe these NFGT prices will hold(I have both). Will never sell my 05

Gentlemen,

I would never sell my 2006 GT. Not for anything else, not ever. I’ve added a couple fun cars, 2017 GT and a 1992 Porsche 964 911. But if I only had one fun car it would be that analog 2006 GT. If it sold I’m either bankrupt or dead. I wouldn’t even sell it if I couldn’t drive anymore. And if you do sell when you see it driving away for the last time you’ll regret it. That’s my take on it.

Interesting take. I sold my 18 and kept my 06. While I miss the 18 it would have been harder to part with the 06.

Every time I see an 05-06 for sale, I think they will regret it , usually they do. But on the other hand , it gives someone else the opportunity to enjoy it!!
