Info on Hi-Fi system
AZGT,
Since I removed the subwoofer/amp, I have no sound what so ever. The AM/FM radio portion of my rig quit working in the first few weeks. I just pulled it out and I am getting an extact replacement unit. The amplifier is needed for the entire system to operate.
When time permits, I may design a miniature, high-efficiency Class-D module that fits under the seat. This gives us the best of all worlds, a visible engine and a good sound system.

Thanks for your reply.
I saw your posts with the clear cover. Looks good. What did you do once you took the speaker out? Do you put others under the seats or just elinimate it? If you eliminated, how does the system sound. Did you need to do anything with the wiring?
Just as a vote, I would do the trim color to match the armrest - it would be a natural tie in.
