American Chopper's guy selling his Black no stripe (side stripe though) on Ebay. 1800 miles. Looks nice, but I don't know what kind of $$$ he's looking for.

he's got good taste in cars and color, cant imagine why he's selling?:confused

He realized he bought the slowest GT color... ;)

I'm not sure he's a "celeb", but then what do I know. Great combo. I'd buy Shelby's black no striper if I was looking for a third one.

His car looks nice.

"Celeb car on Ebay " I thought this would be Camillo's or GTJOEY's GT. :biggrin

But who is this guy? :lol

Orange County (NY) Choppers fame.

gtnj ,
Happy b day to you !!!

He was selling his Z06 the other day on ebay. Guess not too many people are ordering bikes these days. From watching his show I would not buy anything that family has driven.

Also, if it is the older, bearded Chopper's dude then he had his 69 Hugger Orange Camaro on ebay the other day too.

I thought a black Ford GT of his was being sold last year as a rebuilder after what looked to be a fairly substantial wreck.

shadowman - are you saying this is the same car?

No but rather I am sharing that which I remember.

As I recall the reason given for the sale back then was that the bodyshop was backed up on work or some other equally interesting reason.

All I am saying is "buyer beware" and research the history on all of the gals as offered for sale.

There are a large number that have had less than stellar moments in time.

I do remember there being a black no stripe that was wrecked in that area. They are a rare color, so checking into it to make sure its NOT that car might not be a bad idea.....
Better safe than sorry

and to think that the search engine on this Forum does a wonderful job

I wanted to see the integrity of the seller so I sent them a message to ask them "Has this vehicle ever been in an accident or any sort of fender bender????"

This is the response I received back:frown:frown

"NO IT HAS NOT."

Shocking!!l

That is why a ppi is a must, or buy from Bernie or Shelby who we know.

I would be p.o if I flew the GT Guys or Shadowman out to ppi a vehicle which was reported to be a cherry only to find out the seller lied. But, still cheaper that buying a car that turns out to be a lot turd...

Be careful!!

Is it possible he got rid of the wrecked one and purchased another no stories black GT???

Absolutely and yet my position remains; be fricken careful out there because behind the scenes there are many gals with less than stellar history.

Everybody.... reread Shadow's post above.... what he said is an understatement.
