Can you ID this air intake and exhaust on GT?

I would bet those cats would have damaged the paint on the clamshell, or worst!

delete them along with the box thing. :biggrin

I have the 180 degree headers on my Pantera and it realy adds a bunch of heat to the engine bay. Those headers would likely cause an issue. We're better off with what we have

There was no ROOM for them configured that way AND keep the required GT40 silhouette anyway given all the other equip stuffed into the production car.

So how did they do it in the yellow car? There are some impressive heatshield materials out there.

The yellow car doesn't have all the afore mentioned production car equipment in the engine bay.

if I remember correctly was'nt the yellow car a 5 or 10 mph only concept car not a full working proto-type

Please Add to my lust list the side window without the faux wing window pillar as well as the directional billet vents in the dash. :thumbsup

Wow, fantistic pics of the Design Studio, thank you. Does anyone have anymore of the walls and panels around the studio showing all the design mounted there? I would love to see closer pictures of all the things mounted on the panels behind the three cars. Check out the double air intake on the side of the red car, and another behind the side window on the same car.

I got a booklet with a cd a slides in it from ford back in about 2002 or 2003 it has a great write up also about the whole idea of the GT40 as it was called back then it had this picture on the cover
we were looking at buying a GT engine to put in our 2000 CobraR that we were racing but it wouldn't fit, so now we race a 05 GT instead:thumbsup
