Andy, I agree.
There are certainly some dead beats who are just too full of themselves and reluctantly (if ever) get into the teamwork mentality. Let's hope a more cohesive team effort emerges as these outliers are eliminated.

Go Camilo!!

At Carlisle I talked to Camilo about purchasing some art. I emailed Jesse at Innerstate Gallery but have not gotten a response. His site does not seem to be operational at this time.....any suggestions?

Best, Bret.

What were you looking for?

Tungston GT prints. He said he had some at the shop.

I was able to find Episode 1 on their web site:

Just watched it on dvr. I have to say, I have no idea what the challenge was. Transformers? I don't know. But! They started out with ugly cars and finished with...very ugly cars.

So far, this series is boiling down to the people you just want to go away. They got it right last week. And, yes...I would have kicked Troy in the ass if I could have. Good riddance!

So...two for two!

Next week, that dude on Camilo's team with the beard? I don't know his name. The whiner. Yeah him. Make him go away.

Are we going to have a topic per episode? If so maybe we might have a subforum :)

I've been watching it. I watched the first episode on line before it aired. I'm watching episode #2 now. It's actually quite interesting how they do their stuff.

Camilo appears to be "underground". As I said earlier, one person recognized him but noone has clicked on him as essentially the father of the Ford GT and already an experienced car designer. In episode 2 he is being a teacher or mentor. He has technical skills that noone else has - e.g., using cardboard as a forming method.

It is interesting that a premier Ford designer is involved with a Chevrolet (and could end up designing a new CHevy). It'll be interesting to see how this plays out.

Also, I'm not sure it will be over before the Rally so Camilo won't be allowed to talk about it until it ends (per non disclosure agreements). Maybe a Makers Mark moment :)
