I invited 11 GT owners to the last C&C of the year at Club Auto Sport ( - what, it's too cold in CA in the winter? LOL) & 4 of us answered the call. http://clubautosport.net BlackIce, WhiteGT16, TiggsGT & myself checked out the cool cars, ugly models (according to Dr Frank) & nice weather. Afterwards a rally to the coast found us in Santa Cruz via Skyline Blvd & some gnarly single lane roads that I never knew existed. Lunch on the pier & then a drive to the invitation only Mozart Auto Collection. http://www.mbca.org/event/2013-02-23/san-francisco-bay-area-visits-mozart-automobile-collection John Mozart personally greeted us. Beautiful rare cars! A great day indeed.

Ed

PS No photos requested by John of his cars. Although if you go to the Ferrari Chat site you can see photos some idiot took after he was asked by John not to take them. When you are in somebody's house you do as they ask.

You can park your cars on the pier in Santa Cruz. If you are lucky a sea gull won't poop on your car.

Found someone who made a nice HD video of yesterday and posted on youtube. Includes a couple shots of Eds car, most notably at 3:11. My GT at 6:07. Idiot BMW driver almost crashes at the end. Thankfully he's not driving a GT.

Well, I have to say that was a bit amateurish, livened only by Special Ed bursting eardrums and poisoning lungs with unburned hydrocarbons. Props to Ed for saving the day!

WTF was that car with the squiggly wrap? Looked like something manufacturers do to disguise cars while testing. Ugh!

Squiggly wrap car is a 12C with a 'racetrack' wrap. Can't say I'm a fan either, but here's more info if you want to read. http://www.autoblog.com/2013/05/06/mclaren-mp4-12c-greenwich-edition/

A lot of nice sounding cars in that video - but none better than Ed's beast!

Don't think I'd invite the BMW jerk back. Mustang guys not too clever either.

Fantastic turnout of cars!

Looks like the economy is doing great somewhere.

Do you think they may have a point about the distribution of wealth?

Don't think I'd take that convoy through Watts.

I wouldn't take my beater pickup through Watts. :ack
