This thing is sweet and if you make large power, you need it.

Shouldnt be that hard. I actually ended up putting my boost controller in the stock boost gauge location.

With one taking their time it will take between 2-3 hours to install the gauge. It's plug and play, there is no (wiring) to do other than pluging in the gauge to the factory harness and running the MAP sensor harness to the engine compartment.

Hey Michael, I noticed you forgot to show the 6" long vacuum hose.:thumbsup This is the easiest part of the project by the way:biggrin Hey guys let me give you a bit of advise from someone who has dealt with Michael in the past with the vacuum gauge and the new air fuel gauge that he has produced for us. If you have any problems or questions with his product during the installation he will be at your side 24/7 to help in any way possible and if I can do the install believe me anyone on the forum can so don't worry you will have a great support cast if you ever feel the need to contact Michael.:thumbsup

This is a "must have" for anyone running higher than stock boost, IMO. Or just cool to have, even at standard. :biggrin

Should have put it in your cupholder. That way you can't see it and get scared.

With this much power and going that fast... who has time to take your eyes off the road to look at a boost gauge :eek:willy

I am thinking it is for people that video themselves running their car. When I am at 3/4 throttle or higher the LAST thing I am looking at is a pegged boost gauge.

I think it is more valuable to log boost much like A/F in that way you can keep your eyes on the road but still gather data that may be valuable to gauge the effectiveness of any modifications. Both the boost and new a/f meter from Michael allow you to connect them to an SCT tuner to datalog.

Although the new A/F gauge has this feature "out-of-the-box" (for A/F datalogging), you'd have to improvise something to get the readings from the MAP sensor in FreeFlyer's boost gauge set-up..... at least on the ones I have installed.
