So, I was visiting my parents in the midwest right after the rally this month.... Was able to drive my dads' GT (for those of you that don't know, he was the lucky bastard that won it last year) I noticed his car had black calipers... Now, I know I should know this, but I don't.... They only come in grey and the so called upgraded red.... right? Last year at the 1st rally I have a picture of all the calipers in the boxes at Saleen.... grey and red..... no black.... any ideas or answers here boys? I'm a little confused:confused

My buddy's GT (Red/Wht) has balck calipers. It's a late 05.

My dads is a red white.... late 05 too. #1300 n something....

very interesting

Red and Grey are $695 upgrades from Stock Black. Check your window sticker, if you have Grey or Red you should see the charge for the optional calipers.

The Four Options are:

Painted Racing Stripes
Macintosh
Forged Wheels
Painted Calipers ( Red or Grey )

Black Calipers

Timmy-
In other words....
Black was standard, no charge.
See very few black calipers however as you note...
Keep working on your post count. You are almost there!!!

Thanks guys,.. I always thought grey was the standard with red being the only upgrade for the calipers........ Oh... well:cheers Have a great holiday weekend

Mine had black calipers. I actually liked them.

Black calipers were standard on GTs, with red and grey as optional charge. I ordered black with my White/blue stripe Gt and I think it looks great. I thought three tone wouldn't look good.TGH

Blk Calipers on my 05 Blk/ Slvr - the only fit :thumbsup

(1 of 12 per Quickdraw:banana)

Black on my 06, Blk/Silver. The perfect color, especially with the black centerspoke wheels.

Black is also the most functional color, being the best color to radiate heat from!

I like the black

My black no stripe has grey it looks cool. But my yellow with black stripes
looks nice with black calls.
