Best color for keeping clean

Tungsten hides the dirt the best. I buy white cars as daily drivers because they are easy to take care of but the Tungsten hides the dirt the best for sure. It's great for a Lazy guy like me !! :biggrin

Soooo, "LazyCat" is not a misnomer?

Frank,
Thought you might appreciate this...since we are in the same profession!
Tried to eat kidney pie in England...but I just could not get past the fact that I was looking at renal cortex and medullary pyramids! Ha.

When I saw my first Black/Stripe Delete at Rally II, I said to myself - "There is a car" and the owner said "It's the worst car to keep clean - want to buy it?"

:lol

I still love to look at them! :thumbsup

I am all for Tungsten!! :lol

That said I agree that the black (particularly the no stripes) and the blue are phenomenal looking when clean, but like Dave after my last black car I said NO MAS to getting black again!!

You just gotta go with the color that turns you on the most, simple as that. Then from there, decide how often you want to wash, spray, detail, wipe it down, polish, glaze, wax, etc. to keep it looking sano.
Some guys do it on their own, some guys have it done. Whatever floats your boat.
I happen to love black cars and have owned over a dozen. My Mid Blue is a pain, yeah, but I don't mind spending time on it one little iota. :thumbsup

Aaaaaaaaaah...but, where's the CORRESPONDING "black" dot on the wheel? :biggrin

I still have both, required me to hunt down the paint supplier in Cleveland, and purchase several applicators, but I still keep both on the car!

RED is the best!

Frank,

I like the science behind your opinions! :cheers

Yellow.

Gentlemen,

All the grime on the surface of my yellow GT doesn't show up much. I think my yellow car looks great even when it's very dirty. Ones opinion of that however, would probably depend on whether you think a yellow car looks good when it's sparkling clean.
