Well, I am sitting here fairly pissed off, Sunday afternoon, car has been in the garage the entire weekend, no call back from my dealer, no call back from the Ford Hotline. I have no idea what is going on with my transmission and I won't drive it until I hear of a resonable solution.
Can you imagine a Ferrari Dealership or Ferrari treating a customer like this? Maybe this is the difference between Ferrari and Ford? I suspect that if a similar problem happened on a new Ferrari, at least someone from Ferrari would make contact with you and provide some answers, even if it was a secretary. So far, I have provided myself with all the answers and the answers are not acceptable. No one has called me back from Ford, I have called my dealer, my dealer has not called me back, the Tech Serivce Manager is "on vacation". I have called the Ford GT Hotline, and have heard nothing back from them. I am not sure why there is a Ford GT Hotline? It is the most worthless phone call you can make short of calling your computer tech support and talking to someone in Jaipur! It should be called the "Ford GT Coldline". :bs Is there something wrong with this business model? Maybe this is why Ford is in the tank on sales right now?
I guess Quality is not Job #1 anymore, and I know Service is not Job #1. That is pretty evident. I suspect the solution for So Cal GT owners is to buy the kit and get to Saleen ASAP. :thumbsdow
DBK, any insider update on this issue?
