Somebody posted this on facebook, and being from South Florida I'm very familiar with the PPR claims and nonsense, LOL! I've actually seen the car on the dyno making way less power than what he's ever publicly claimed.

Yeah, a lot of us have had the "pleasure" of spending a little time with Johnny. Let me put it this way, if his car ran as fast as his mouth, it would go 400 MPH with no fan sponsorship required.

I'll take some sponsorship money. I only wanna go 200+ in the mile

LOL! Yeah he's a piece of work. I found out the guys who built the red and black twin turbo gt I'm looking at are the original company that built his GT before he got all that forklift money and decided he was a Performance Guru... LOL!

Five grand for a Johnny ride-along

I am at a loss for words....

C'mon guys pony up the dough obviously he must be short on cash... LOL! I think my water came out my nose when I read that after taking a nice gulp!

The $500 for the signed photo seems like a good deal!

Kind of expensive for a dart board.

:eek Clinton!!!

But its the guiness book of world records' fastest street car in a mile! It's gotta be worth every penny! Even though Ray Hoffman went faster, and so did the guy in Texas (name escapes me). He claims to have hit 270mph in testing! Where's the video and vbox data from that run buddy... LOL!

He's just passed the 1% mark of reaching his goal of $30,000. Would anyone want to just write him a check for the remaining $29,630?

...and so did the guy in Texas (name escapes me)...

:lol

Whats funny is that you? I try to keep up with as much as I can, but with a busy shop 3 kids and a wife... I fall behind once in a while! I'm sure a lot of you guys can relate!

No! I thought you were a buddy of his and you were just messin' with him a little! :rofl

(Edit: 'Referring to Mark H.)

Nah, lol! Nah I think monetarily speaking him and I are on different planets!

Does that mean you don't have an online donate-money-to-my-pocket site? LOL

Yeah it's called Paypal... LOL! No not Boner my bank accounts bigger than his... LOL! I was referring to Mark Heidaker and I being on different planets Monetarily... I could buy a leer jet, but I'd have to live in it!

Johnny's Guiness World Record in the Standing Mile is 217 mph. Guiness only recognizes runs that they have been paid to attend and supervise. A bunch of us have run faster than 217 and that's why Johnny never mentions the speed of his "World Record". One good thing about the guy though, after seeing that video of him in shorts, my baby mouse pink legs look comparatively pretty good!

LOL!!! Now that's funny right there! What's funny is I've never actually seen it in the book although it does say on PPR's website 252.8 or something to that effect. I was actually at the standing mile in Miami when he did go 252 and that baby was dieseling gray smoke all over the place after that run! Melted a piston or two or three or four... LOL!
