You know what I mean Dave, the car is worthless unless You sell it and I don't intend on ever selling it, or my 87 911 for that matter.

So, no I don't care about the effect on the car's value. I hate that someone got killed in a GT or any car. I see this almost on a daily basis. I recently had a teenage girl come in the ER who was the same age as my daughter, dead because she was texting on her cell and ran into the back of a dumptruck. (I have attempted to get texting while driving banned in MS.)

So I see your point Dave about people on this forum preoccupied by the wrecks, but do know at least I am sad about the loss of the GTs, not thrilled at their demise and all of us on this forum are deeply saddened by the death of this GT driver.

Do what? That's the only known real photograph of Bony in private hands today. I heard a theory that Bony & DBK are really the same person, kind of like the Architect. It's a hybrid thing.

I'm with you on that. There was one particular comment on what was more important that just pissed me off.

Ten years ago this past July I was getting on a plane when they paged me to the airport courtesy phone. When I picked up it was to tell me not to get on the plane because my cousin (who had just got his permit) crashed the family van killing my aunt, two of her children, and a foreign exchange student that lived with them. A third cousin who was 13 chose to stay at home that day. This was 8 months after my uncle went to work one day, put a pistol to his head, and pulled the trigger. Needless to say, my concern for sheetmetal and keeping track of wrecks is minimal.

I have attempted to get texting while driving banned in MS.

Ban is now law in AZ. Came in after some kids got killed doing the same thing.

Don't know what the difference is between dialing and texting, but I'm sure we'll fnd out soon.

Hey sorry man, I just get this way when I get worried about Brittany.

But seriously, a little over a year ago my wife and I were coming out of the Laguna Ritz Carlton about to get in our GT and a guy approached us asking about the car. He said he had a titanium GT and that he had been on the forum a few times. We spoke for a few minutes before leaving, and one of the things he said was that he thought DBK, Bony, and the Architect were the same person. I don't remember his name, although he did tell me at the time. When I met you at the Rally II, I was kind of surprised you didn't have a large grey beard.

Dave & Bony why don't we just come up with a heading of:
Not Good News or something like that.
This way we all dont see it under general and get sucked into posting. And you could move them when ever you like to the section (at the bottom) It is not bad that people are posting it as it could do some good and info on wrecked cars just it's a negative, and it would be nice if people want to see what wrecks or trouble with dealers or what ever they could do it in a special section.

One of the issues with posting trouble with dealers is the legal exposure one subjects themselves to. On the GtI board the Atlanta VW dealer sued a forum member that was a little critical. There are always two sides of every story. Be careful what you post. Everything you post stays on the internet forever.

The first thing my wife said after she got in the car was "that guy is stoned!". In fact both he and the girl he was with that night looked pretty loaded, and it wasn't an "alcohol" loaded if you know what I mean. I gave him my email, but I have never seen or heard from him since, that was probably a good thing. Anyway, it was good for a laugh on the way home. When my wife and I met you at the rally last August, I had forgotten about it and that's why I didn't say anything. A couple nights ago my wife and I were watching the 2nd Matrix movie and she remined me about it, so I thought you might get a kick out of hearing that story.

There IS none! Doing either in traffic at the wrong second can invite big trouble in an even bigger hurry.

On high performance tires, tread depth can be misleading. Not sure how much this applies to our tires, but on race tires it's the number of heat cycles that counts. Too many and they will have no grip. So if your car doesn't seem to have the same grip it used to, that could be the problem too.
