I thought I'd show my solution to sharing garage space with bikes & GT's. Within hours of parking my car in the garage for the first time a couple of years ago I had my kids nearly scraping by with their bikes. Since I don't have the luxury of a private stall I figured damage was just a matter of time. So with a portable pet cage that was sitting around and a 1/4inch masonary bit in the drill I went to work. As my son has convieniently demonstrated for the photo, the fencing can withstand a leaning bike, scooter, etc. The pins at each of the panel joints pushes into the holes drilled in the concrete so that the panels can't slide, and the pins pull up and out easily from each panel so the entire fence can be dismantled in about a minute and set up in 2-3 minutes. I caught alot of grief for this when I first set it up, but it has saved many tears (theirs and mine) over the years.

It's better to be safe than sorry.

Now, pull the GT up a little. :biggrin

'Could be a darn good stratagy for car shows too.....................:mad

I had a similar strategy....except I put the kid in the fence. Works great! Saved on food too.

What happens when the fence falls into the GT? Looks a bit close getting in and out of the door. I like the suggestion of putting the kiddos IN the fenced area.

Hope gtjoey doesnt see that thing, then i cant go pee pee on his tires..:lol:lol:lol bo.

1)What happens when the fence falls into the GT? 2)Looks a bit close getting in and out of the door.

1) 'Can't since it's anchored into holes in the concrete. So, only if someone - or some 'thing' rather heavy - falls into it could it be bent over and contact the GT). 'Not too likely.

2) 'Fence is pulled up outta the concrete & set aside B4 da door be opened! :lol

Exactly
