Aloha all. I am in Maui on vacation :banana and wondering if there are any onwers/memebers here.:thumbsup I know AlohaGT is but not on Maui.

What part of Maui are you in? Make sure to eat at Roys if you are near Kaanapali. Enjoy the Island, it is the best! Wish I was there now!
 
GTViperman I am staying at Wailea. Wether has been great and found Capiche italian restaraunt and the food is amazing. Off to Haleakala this am for the sunrise.

If you get a chance call the Hyatt at Kanappali and ask if they still have the gazing at the stars program.
 
Don't forget Spagos as well. One of the better ones.

If you have the time, hop over to Kauai and take the river cruise to the Fern Grotto. Also, take in Kauai's own "Grand Canyon".

Thx Tim. Sorry I didn't meet him. I did hang around the car for a bit. But then did some drags down the main st. He left Oahu??!! Why!? Right now on the beach at the Fairmont 90* F and a nice breeze. Hopefully I will meet him next year.

I would LOVE to take my GT on the "Road to Hana" on Maui! My wife and I were just talking about that last Friday night. Some day I'll pay the bucks to ship it over ahead of time for an extended trip.

Another option is that they rent Ferrari's on Maui. You could get one for a day and take it to Hana.

Hang loose GT bra' and enjoy Maui.

I may be the only one but I recall that Aloha GT said anytime I was in Hawaii that I could stay with him, for as long as I wanted to, & also drive his GT. I'm pretty sure he told me that.

If you are still on Maui, you need to visit Mamas Fish House in Paia. From Wailea its a 30 minute drive. You will not regret it!!!!!! :thumbsup
 
Guys thanks for all the tips. Did the few typical tourist things- road to hana , haleakala, and the Luau. And Shopping for the wife. went by Mamas fish house but not big on fish. Found Capiche a great italian place. Pizza madness for excellent pizza and beer. Saw a convertable DB9 Aston last night. Sweet car.
Off to Vegas tonight for 3 nights!!

Let me know if you make it over to Oahu. Would enjoy hooking up.

Incidentally, my wife just picked up a DB9 coupe. It is, perhaps, the most elegant car I've ever seen - exterior and interior.

Just saw your posts. I live part time on Maui. Sorry I missed you. I will be back on Island in a few weeks. You most likely saw my next door neighbor in the DB9 (not many on Maui). She also has a Maserati Gran Turismo (only one on Maui!).

Let me know next time you are back...Love to visit with fellow GT family!

Do yourself a favor while you're in 'Vegas and see ol' George Wallace at the Flamingo! Tell him Larry sent ya! (Or not!!! Mebbe that'd getcha thrown outta the place come to think of it...:biggrin)

I would have also said to take in Danny Gans' show at the Encore, but he's no longer with us...:frown
