Here's a nice video presented to the SAE World Congress about the Brute. Chet in the video is a fellow GT owner and my next door neighbor.

p.s, if it's a horrible irony for a guy that deals with a ton of winches, his is one of the few GT's that suffered a busted front fascia from having the car winched down using the tow hook. :lol

Those rigs are just outrageous! Me likey!

Do you know if the BRAKES are upgraded to handle the ton of extra wheel/tire inertia? (Ditto 'tranny upgrade?)

Larry,... why ask, why would you care, you don't need brakes or even an engine based on your previous ownership of the world first FGT Statue, a non-driven work of art? :-)

You laid down for that one... :-)

It's a small world, Dave. I know Dave Harriton (AEV founder and Prez) pretty well and have wheeled with him a time or two in Moab.

AEV was in the Chrysler booth at SEMA in Nov 2002 with the new 5.7L Hemi stuffed in it. Seeing things like that is bad for me. In 2003 I bought a new Rubicon and with less than 5,000 miles on the stock 6, I pulled it out and stuffed a new 5.7L Hemi/Trans in it. Dave had pretty much assured anyone that asked that the feat wasn't possible as an individual (without factory help on the necessary computer and smog adaptations). Saying things like that is bad for me. Anyway, getting the Hemi in and running with all smog systems in place and functioning with no engine lights has been my most proud automotive accomplishments. Here's some of my Moab pics....

Great photos of Moab. I did Elephant Hill in a rented Jeep about 2 years ago and it was a blast. Every gearhead should experience something like this at least once.

Great Pictures!
That Rubicon really can take you to some unbelievable places. I take it these pictures are of your "repowered" jeep with the hemi?
