4.0L Whipple

I have a gently used 4.0L that has served me well that I would like to sell. This may not be the best sales attic but I know Whipple is working on a 4.5L that would meet my needs better. The 4.0L teeters on the brink of a stock GT motor/fuel system capability. If you are looking to push the limit with a twin-screw this is it.

If the buyer wishes, I can have Whipple inspect the unit for wear but I know it is in good condition.

Mark how much boost are you planning on using with the new 4.5L and what kind of fuel?

I was planning on using 30lbs as a target boost. The MoTeC is going to use the bypass valve as a boost controller so it can change boost on-the-fly according to the level of ethanol it senses in the fuel. Then was going to use the full 30lbs with E85 and tone it back to 24-25 lbs on pump gas.

I can also get Dustin to setup injector ports in the plynumn of the new Whipple so I can spray fuel directly on the SC lobes under high boost. Kinda like meth injection but it uses whatever fuel you have in the tank.

This supercharger is black, coated by Whipple with 'crinkle flat black.' It looks like a stock component might. The only other option is polished and that was a bit to heavy on the bling for me. I will thro in the mafia unit for better MAF ability and assist in tuning any way I can.

I am asking $7,000 for this package. I can include the black single blade throttle body also for an additional $500.
