Asking price is $1.5M

Wow would have thought he would want to keep that one.

You’d think. Wonder why he’s selling.

Indeed! This is rather puzzling.
Just the thought of selling to me would be like cutting off one of my arms and selling it.

I would think it is super obvious why he's selling.

I would guess we want to make close to a million in profit! As he bought is for 516,000

Ding, ding ding, We have a winner!!!!!

Yup, most likely thats it.

One hopes its to help get a privateer team off the ground and ready to race.
Oh well I'm just a dreamer.

One could hope but I don't think a million bucks wouldn't run a privateer team for a season...

Any more would probably get me banned...

True, a mere mil don't buy what it used too. But as I said, it would be a help to get started :).

He’ll he probably doesn’t fit in it! He isn’t a small Guy!

I talked to him at Road ATL and I agree I didn't sense any odor. :)

I couldn’t agree more!
My guess is Chip is selling it because he Would rather have the money then the car

Or...

There was a lot of "hey, hurry up and wait" told to CGR while Ford talked/waffled about entering DPi or some type of continuation of the GT racing program. Once it was admitted that nothing was going to materialize, that left the CGR team and its utterly spectacular driver lineup in the lurch. CGR did a really great job from start to finish racing these cars. Drivers, crews, team leadership.

How happy would you be?

I hadn’t thought about it from that perspective. I get it, now.
