Exactly what was needed to inspire and create the new generation of teenage car enthusiasts. I think there'll be a run on posters from the teenagers and lottery tickets from us.

How funky/cool are those headlights? And yet the rear lamps bring back the GT40 single light motif used in the 05-06 cars.

I think it is the front fenders that are so alluring; they really bring back the front end of the Mk 1 GT40s and our '05-06 cars, especially from the concave sweep from the front vents. I love the whole car, but anyone who saw an original and/or a GT would be able to see the provenance because of the front end.

I think Ford just closed the book on the old school of design that follows function.

This proves Function can be insanely beautiful. Not freakish as many of the competitors cars are.

So beautiful. Parts of it remind me of the LaFerrari, but Ford NAILED every angle, while the LaFerrari has so many garish detractor features and angles that keep it from being as attractive as it could otherwise be.

Think Ford went with classic curves v. trapezoid, ovoids, and elipisoids that plague many others :0

Competition looks soap-bar, hump-backed, cat-fish/snout and squat.

Oblong, center-mass, & bulbous is OUT

Air-Frame, Fuselage, Flying Butress, race Ponton wheel-pod is IN.

Design Review: '16 Ford GT Classic:

-Kamm style / duck-tail
-Sharp Creased-curves
-Squared horizontal outlines
