2010 SHO Taurus AWD

It's cool how DI allows for a high static CR of 10.1:1...even before the motor sees its max of 12 psi. Should make for excellent response even at low RPM.

I look forward to seeing what the tuners can wring out of it.

Now I know there aren't many Pontiac fans here...but down here, south of the snow belt....I wonder which would be the better $40k sport sedan...the V6 automatic AWD SHO or the tire smoking, RWD, 6 speed manual Pontiac GXP with the excellent LS3 V8?

I remember when I was still selling and the Ford Edge had just come out. Not for me but the engine was impressive. I remember reading car and driver showing my GM the 3.5 V6 TT engine that Ford said it was going to use on all V6's eventually and he said "that would never happen". I should have bet him a million and had a contract drawn up. :thumbsup

I just got a ride in a 2010 SHO preproduction car and all I can say is WOW! The car feels as solid as any Lexus or Benz I have ever been in. It was as quiet as a car can be. The ride was good too. It had the 20" wheels and still had a great ride even on our beat up Michigan roads. The power was great. It pulled strong. Ford has a home run with this car!:thumbsup

Got to order one ASAP:thumbsup

I have already taken 3 retail orders so far.:cheers

My build date was delayed but it's currently scheduled for 6-29. Should have it in July, which is actually slightly sooner than I thought. Can't wait. Saw an Ecoboost MKS on the road today and was yearning for those 365 hp...from behind the wheel of my 900rwhp GT.

365hp??? yea right, your so full of it dbk! i hear you already have a planned trip to sarasota for late july....:rofl :eek :cheers

Oh, and there's this attractive girl (Bar Refaeli) on the cover. Might be a keeper issue, the car too....

I think Bony would approve!

Can't find a local dealer with an allotment for an SHO. :bored

My very small dealer in Michigan could only order the first ones with customer names on the order.

Someone get to Torrie or Heff or someone to start tunning these TT's ASAP
I hear tell that Ford is very conservitive with the stock tune:eek

I think the car is a homerun!

We can order as many as we want. Retail orders are scheduled above and beyond our stock allocation. We have a Red Candy in stock because the guy who ordered it from me lost his job before the car came.

DO you know if they are A/Z plan available?

Yes they are.:cheers

Anyone notice in the new ad, the car the SHO passes (as if it was standing still, no less) is a white Audi. Suprised Ford was that obvious about it!:lol

Going to pick it up and turn in the Lincoln now.
