Don't know if this has been brought up before, but a seller in WI is stating that the 2006 GT's were detuned by 50 hp because of the axle bolt failures .....

"Did you know that the 2005 cars had over 50 hp MORE than the 2006 cars? It is true (of course after mods they can be equal) Ford reduced the tuning to stop breaking axle bolts etc...in 2006."

Seller in WI does not know what he is talking about. Engines were not detuned in 2006.

Complete...total...and utter.

The only diffs in the cars were slight COSMETIC tweaks here & there. That's it.


Oh! And BILLET "A" arms in the first couple hundred cars! lol!

my 2006 runs pretty good.. oh he is also saying new fresh Mobil 1 oil.. Total BS.. What are we going to to with this guy Frank... you are closer to him can you give him one of these please... :slap

The biggest difference is that the 2005's horsepower is much older than the younger horsepower in the 2006's.

LOL, I like where he says bumper deletes RUN $4k to $5k, but he fails to mention his only cost $39.95, the cost of having the frame rails cut and doing NOTHING ELSE and leaving the bigass holes on the rear of the car. I also like the "12 coat CLEAR COAT" deal. Seriously, 12 coats?
Not sure I would be advertising Genaddi design group and Performance Power working on my car as selling points on a GT.......

I wouldn't give a person that uses "lol" in their daily language even $100. To each his own of course, but in my opinion red wheels don't work here any better than they do on the Laguna Seca Boss.
