Wow.. rare color... all optioned car..... 139...... nice:thumbsup

From the ebay ad ....."This car was fitted with the upgraded computer chip that enhances horse power from 550 to 600."

What chip is that? Also..the car does have 7k miles. Still a great deal, but we have seen the $2 a mile depreciation on some driven cars previously. Not that 7k miles is a ton...just more than the norm for sure. As a comparison, a Ford Dealer offered me well over that # wholesale on my '05 Bumblebee with 1200 miles...30 days ago.

That price sounds about right, my friend wanted to trade his in on a Gallardo and they only offered him 130k. Lower miles and it would probably bring 145k which is pretty strong I think. There is a couple more on ebay with prices in the mid 140's right now.

Im guessing its a handheld tuner thingy.

I wish I can find a white one around this price range soon.

'BETCHA PIONEER FORD IN LYNDEN, WASH. WOULD SELL THEIR '05 WHITE/BLUE "ALL OPTIONS" CAR FOR "PRETTY CHEAP" RIGHT NOW.(360-354-1000) (LAST I HEARD, IT HAD UNDER 100 "DEALER" MILES ON IT.)

THEY'VE HAD IT SINCE THE SUMMER OF '05 I THINK. ('BOUGHT IT FROM ANOTHER DEALER FOR $194K THEN, OR SO THE STORY GOES...'WERE GOING TO "MAKE A KILLING" AND HUNG ON TOO LONG.)

I HAVE NO STAKE OR INTEREST IN THE SALE OF THIS CAR AT ALL. CALL 'EM OR NOT! WHATEVER! I COULDN'T CARE LESS! (JUST TRYIN' TO HELP YUH OUT........! :biggrin )

Thanks a lot for the heads up. Im looking to buy first week of March. I will definitely look them up.

you rock

Im guessing its a handheld tuner thingy.

I assumed that as well...but of course that isn't a computer chip.

I think that this was the rarest color in 05. Correct me if im wrong.

Wow on the price..

I would have a hard time buying one with mileage like that though...

Ya. I know. Sometimes I'm so fantastic, even I can't stand it!:lol

According to

http://www.fordgtforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3534&page=3&highlight=production+numbers

Ford made a total of 172 Yellow GT's (97 in '05 and 75 in '06). 156 Quick Silver Metallic GT's were built in '05, and 541 Tungsten Silver GT's were built in '06. So, yes, Yellow was the rarest color in '05. If you compare '05 and '06 Silver production numbers to '05 and '06 Yellow production numbers, Yellow is the still the rarest.

Most importantly, if you compare the Quick Silver Metallic GT's to all other colors, Quick Silver is by far the fastest.:wink

Best Regards,
Waldo

Maybe the seller meant to say that the car had "POTATOE" chips left on the floor.:wink
