1210hp/884ftlbs rwhp Worlds Most Powerfull Supercharged FGT

A centrifugal blown car will inherently never make the low end boost of a positive displacement blown one. Not saying it won't be a wild ride, but if you are looking for low end response, a pair of small turbos will generally be superior to a large centrifugal. (Come drive my 91 Incon TT LX if you disagree!)

Of course, neither will match your Whipple until over 3500 rpm. This combo makes incredible torque at 7000+ rpm, though.....wow!

Dan, can you show us a dyno curve starting at 2000 rpm please?

agree, what I should have said, was better tq than a tt car down low, Im merely comparing only to tt and supercharged cars. it wont make as much as a supercharged car as early but that is a good thing from what I have come to find out :) my car hits way too hard now and it is nearly impossible to control in second gear no matter what tires. so this set up should be a happy medium for some very strong pulls in mexico, because the lack of 1000ftbls of tq down low will allow it to hook and the extra hp on top will make sure it will stay ahead!

i want to drive that little fox :)

Have you considered Shadowman's Traction Control?

PS shouldn't you be extirpating a pulp or something? It's Monday morning!

We would of had to pull the car in 3rd gear to get that low of a rpm, plus im really not interested in No's that low and it wont be alot as you can already tell by the 3500rpm no's. I already know that I will have to downshift the car to pass and make pulls. I know that it won't ever make whipple power/torque down low or stock blower power/torque below 4500rpms. The amount of time its going to spend in that 1500-4500 area when making pulls is going to be very limited and when starting in 1st or second it will be even less time. Nice thing about the centrifical is it makes enough power to plant the tire, excellerate it without overpowering it with torque. Depending on what i do with blower speed I can move that whole dynograph up to 750rpms sooner in the power band. Which will make a big difference. Also when I add some compression to it, you can expect the low end no's to jump up a considerable amount. Cause the next motor will be 11.5 to 1 compression. I have a pretty crazy traction control system for the car aswell. Plus we didnt play with the timing down low either, there may be some power on the table there yet to for the bottom end.

I'm just learning right now with this and what i want to do next. I have 2 more motors in the process of being built, different cams, and cnc'd heads. I have one more blower togo also and the second blower picked up 160rwhp over the first. I truely think that I can make close to 1500rwhp in the end with the final blower/motor combo. But I know that 1400+ will def. happen. The next motor is going to be 358 cubes/11.5 compression and right now toying with doing a 374'' motor. Think of the piston speed on that baby:) I know of a guy running one right now with a F2 Procharger and it only makes 26lbs of boost due to the cu" and he turns it 8800 RPMS> It lives also with no issues.

Yup all that torque is fun, untill you wanna try and street race it from low speeds. Pedaling it get you no where fast.

Lol thats what I was doing saturday! Im in the medical center and most of my patients are docs, residents and med center employees, I have to work saturdays, they wont come in any other day:)

as for the traction control I havent given it much thought, I kind of like the car with out any electronic controls, but I may very well have to start looking into it.
last time out the car was scary in second and third I mean I was spinning the rears at well over 100 and when I shifted into fouth it got so sideways at over 140 that I thought I was introuble for a sec. it was kind of cold that night but I hope that it was just the weather and maybe slightly over used R6's I will replace the tires and wait for better weather, but if it keeps acting this way it is too dangerous to drive the car to the limits in its current configuration and I will have to consider other options.

Not a laughing matter, even while inhaling the nitrous. :lol

Yup, it is a screw.

Congrats on getting it running Dan. You coming down to hang out/make a couple passes for the Mile?

now thats funny!

Do you have to up the spring rates and rocker arms significantly with those RPM's? I run a 600 CI ford in my drag car and spring rates and rocker design have been a PITA over 8200. As far as power down low, my experience has always been that as you increase HP numbers out of a given combination, the peak power curve becomes smaller and higher, AKA prostock motors. Your package looks to be still quite broad in the power curve which would lead me to believe you have a lot left. Very impressive. These boosted mod motors are looking better and better.

Argh.....Pushrod valvetrains. I run 600Ci Ford motors in my boat. I recall you saying you run C-heads, correct? Are you running shaft rockers and super stiff double taper pushrods?

Yes the valve springs and valves need to be changed for the hi hp boost stuff. Stock rockers and lifters thou.

There's no way I could paint it and have it done in a month. Well I could but my buddy said he would come in and light his Lightning im building on fire and burn my shop down. LOL I kinda like my shop and would like to not have to go threw that mess. haha I plan on coming down thou and watchn again. I tried callin you did ya change your no? Thanks Also:)

Yea, I did change my cell. I'll find you down there.
