An engine alone, does not a supercar make.
I know a lot of F150 owners were outright pissed when their basic motor went through some mods and then straight into our GT's.
Yeah, I wouldn't worry about it too much. An engine alone does not make a vehicle.
And yes, I am aware of the many differences between our motors and the F150 motors, just trying to be funny.
An engine alone, does not a supercar make.
AM I the only one mad that Ford would use our GT engine for the upcoming Mustang? This really bothers me. Takes away the unique-ness of the GT.
I hope they do use the GT motor in a Shelby Mustang. The biggest beef about the current GT500 is too much weight up front. An aluminum block would be the ticket. The biggest downside for me is this very expensive motor would make for a very expensive Shelby Mustang that I would have to have. The build #'s for such a car would be low and I don't think the GT's value would be affected a bit. The Lambo V-10 is currently being used in an Audi and it's not hurting Lombo resale. Plus...I would love to own a GT/Mustang pair with identical motors. JMO

Let's see - 35K motor in a 30L car. Hum ........... throw a rod and you have a total.
It would have to be something like an 80K Mustang. Seems rather unlikely.
