Erroneous Information in The 2005 Service Manual Relating to Purging Cooling Systems?

Correct me if I'm wrong .....or ..... concur if you know that I'm right ..... Engine Cooling System - Page 303-03A-17, right column, item #4, second sentence states "Open the draincock and drain the engine coolant". I am reasonably certain that that is an incorrect statement - after removing...

Questions on Purging Engine and Intercooler Radiators

The upper petcock (bleeder) valves for both the Engine and Intercooler Radiators are located on the top left side behind the cooling fans shields. The petcock for the engine cooling radiator is reasonably accessible, however, the 1/4" hose I attached immediately filled with liquid and I never...

    Gauge problem solved.........

Performing some routine maintenance, started the engine to purge the cooling system to find yet another failed gauge; this time it's the boost gauge. Added to failed fuel and amps gauges, that makes three failed gauges. At this point, the Speed Hut replacement set would appear to be the only...

The Giants are going to the super bowl

The only good thing about the Giants winning the NFC Championship is the opportunity to watch the Patriots kick the living you know what out of them. Being from Philadelphia, we have no appetite for any NY teams (many of which should actually bear the prefix NJ).

Looking for Recommendations on Shipping a GT to the South of France

Thinking about participating in the 2012 Mille Miglia and would love to do so in the GT. Hoping someone might know of a reliable shipping company to use (leave from NY, NJ or DE ports) . My wife is from Nice so we would prefer to ship there or to Marseille, pick up the car, visit relatives and...
