AC Cobra 427 is probably the most copied car of all time. How many different companies make a version of this car? I'd love one myself.

I'm unable to pull up any info on these vehicles being auctioned. Is this a dealers only auction or is it open to the public?

Took Holland America Cruise from Seattle to Alaska, dog sledding on a glacier was a nice treat - Juneau I think. Also viewing killer whales was pretty neat, but can't remember the excursion city. HAL should have it. Nice cruise and my kids are still talking about it.

I notice that a fair # of owners have had TT, different superchargers, etc. modifying their power supply. How many of you are using that modified power for racing vs street use? Why did you alter the stock system?

I love it and the choice of cars. That ladder scares the heck out of me though; physics tells me it's unlikely but that Blue GT feels like a magnet for that red ladder. Enjoy.

Indy, the Gt is impossible to drive inconspicuously regardless of whether it's stolen or not. Someone is always looking at the car and driver as well.

I've had my GT since April and finally. Yes after 7 months decided to take her for a spin :-). WOW. Ned I say more. Smooth and civil but an absolute smooth and fast rising beast when you let her loose. "That is one F....ing gorgeous car" is what one guy shouted as I pulled to a stop light!!

Interesting note is that Jay Leno got his GT at MSRP. Pretty nice, especially for a # 12 VIN car.

FYI I ordered one from Torrie 2 weeks ago and it came in last week.

A hypocrite? Perhaps. A hypocrite with good tastes in vehicles? A definite Yes.

The correspondence is available on other forums, just google Ford GT accidents and you'll come up with sites. This is unfortunate and a car owner's, especially an owner of a collector car, worst nightmare. I hate taking any of my vehicles out for repair for that very reason.
