This is great news !! Automobile magazine just tested the GT at 12.2 in the quarter, so we need some help. (I know "The GT is not a Drag Racer."....but...). Who is the contact at Wipple, so we can start pesting them.

After 700 miles: - When the GT is first started and cool , the transmission grinds (lightly) into 2nd (low RPM 1500-2000). It will do this only into 2nd out of 1st and only once or twice. After some warm up ( 4 min.) it will not grind. - After a "Good Pull" (To 6000 rpm) and strong boost...

Performance Thanks for the info....... I will take a wait and see while I get some miles and seat time. In the future, maybe a Pulley........................ Don't get me wrong, this car is fantastic.

Good Posts Guys. I bought, and quickly sold, an '03 Ferrari Modena F1. I learned, after I had driven it 700 miles, why it only had 1000 miles on it in two years........ The Paddle Shift was miserable and no fun. Auto mode was even worse. The GT is fun to shift.

Like many of the other Owners, I would like to know why the current GT 1/4 mile acceleration tests are 4 to 6 tenhs slower than the 1st tests. I know these are not Drag Racers but I hate to have my butt kicked by the '04 Viper I sold to my Partner. Maybe FORD will modify the motor to make it...
