I just received my 1:18 scale AUTOart Ford GT. This is the production version, unlike the Beanstalk Group GT Concept. It is available in either red or yellow, at around $80 and the detail is amazing! I'm so happy that an actual Ford GT forum exists! And to have so many owners at one place is great.

Oh, and I saw one at my local dealer, a Mark IV red one with standard wheels, upg. audio, black calipers, etc. They are asking $300K for it! :rofl

I thought you guys might want to see some pictures of both the model and the diecast, so here they are:

Note, fordgt is my username on another site :cheers

The model looks great -- autoart usually does pretty good work. Wish they'd come out with white, blue stripes, since we all know that it is truly the fastest color out there. :lol

Yes Sir.......
White w/Blue is the fastest, I agree. They will have to produce one soon.

Does anybody make them in Tungsten?

1:12 scale GT!

I have both the AutoArt 1:18 and the Beanstalk Heritage concept car.... The AutoArt is amazing, great detail. A little better than the Beanstalk one....

Have you seen the gigantic 1:12 scale ones (AutoArt as well I think...)? I just saw one in a display case over at the AutoBooks store. They are almost two feet long!

Schaweeeet.

Found a White with Blue

This website has the way fast white with blue ones. Not familiar with the brand. They also have the autoart ones but not is white/blue.

Has anyone come across a 1:18 diecast in the ultra rare and incredibly collectible blue/white combination?

I sent an email to autoart to see if I could get some unassembled kits that I could paint myself. (thinking I'd do other ford std color combos) but they don't offer an uncompleted kit. I tried to take mine apart yesterday to see it I could break it down for easier painting but no luck there either... So the even more collectable blue without stripes will have to wait..

Oh by the way, check amazon for the red or yellow versions for about $65.00 plus shipping...

I got the big one out. It is White & blue, just like his big brother! :biggrin
The motor detail is MUCH MORE ACCURATE on the AutoArt ones.
Here's a link for one on auction:

Yes, the 1/12 Ford GT(40's) are made by MotorMax. Beanstalk(Minichamps made) and AUTOart both make Ford GT's, but AUTOarts' is the actual production version.

AUTOart plans to release a Tungsten GT early next year in 1:18. They also have another color on the way but no word on what that is going to be. They have also just released a 1:18 Gran Turismo-themed(fantasy racer from GT4's opening scene) Ford GT which should be arriving in the U.S. next month.
