Mine does this on the drivers door, the dealer looked at it a few times and couldn't find it. I just deal with it, but I'll try those few things out now.

I was recently told that the plastic key cards hotels give you contain a lot of personal info (including CC numbers) and that you should always take them with you and destroy them. Pretty easy for someone to grab one and get the info off of it. I do not believe such info is on the cards, but...

Mine does that after someone standing near the car tries to "help" open the clam before I am able to yell STOP. Seems the clam gets just a wee bit out of wack and acts up. As for a fix, I didn't do anything, once the engine warmed up the clam it didn't present a problem anymore.
