Who has put most miles on GT?

Don't count Camillo out.

. Ran with a yamaha at around 140mph for 5 minutes... :thumbsup

My luck? I'd gone to jail, plain and simple! :bored

7800 in my second year and loving it!
No problems.

Whipple S/C
Ida tune & Exhaust

7400+ on the silver, 300+ on the red GTX1

Clarkson's FGT

It is. Over 45K miles on it now. The Ex Clackson car has 4,600 miles on it. I should know as it's mine now :cheers

I hate to redirect the thread, but I sure would like to know more about your acquisition of Clarkson's FGT. Was he still pizzed at the car, or other reasons for selling? I'm just nosy I guess.

Mileage

7,200 and counting. About 2,000 track miles. In any weather...G.:thumbsup

I was definately lucky... we def. went up and down flying through the transitions of the mountains... don't want you thinking it was 140 straight..... did how ever have to tap the brakes at 95mph later on during the trip when I passed a CHP on the side ... he must of been doing paper work... nervous for a while but he never came in my rearview mirror...

You know the good or bad thing abot the GT's are they want to cruise at about 100 mph. It just feels right.:thumbsup

To be honest, I've no idea on some of the ins and outs of what happened. I can tell you that I bought the car directly off Ford UK. They think it's the first car they've ever sold! All other cars have been sold via the dealer network.

I've got to give a big thank you to Fords for letting me buy the car. As you can imagine, there was a lot of interest in it! It'll be great fun in the next few months. I live about 500 yards from V8 FGT (who helped a lot too :cheers) and not that far from prmoldoaks. Just like London busses then. Wait for ages to see one, then 3 come along all at once :biggrin

Nope! Nothing wrong with it. User error.... But hey, why let the fact that you couldn't handle the system get in the way of a good story.
