I got my Carbon Fiber panel today from Stormcat! Wow, beautiful job! I will try to have it installed this weekend so I can show it off on Sunday. Thanks Brian!

Sweet! I ordered one too, and can't wait to get it. Let us know how the install goes. Enjoy!

Now all we need is someone to make Carbon Fiber door panels.:biggrin

I can't wait to get mine so I can start my sub relocation!

I got to tell you guys, it looks awesome! I was dancing around my office with this in my hands and everyone was asking what it was. All I said was "Carbon, Carbon, Carbon FFFIIBBBBBEERRRRRR!":lol

BTW,
Anyone in So Cal want to help me install?:lol

I can't stop looking at it. Here are a couple pics.

Just PM Stormcat. I'm not sure what the current timeline is, but he can fill you in with all the details!:banana

I am actually going with you guys already, so you will see me, all dull eyed and not so bushy tailed.:lol

I'll try to call you tomorrow and see if I can head up there to get this installed. Thanks for the offer, I will most likely take you up on it.:biggrin

ROCMAN,
I'm glad you like it!! The production ones are nicer than my first prototype. It was hard for me to box it up and ship it to you!! I wanted to keep all of them but than I would have to buy something to put under them ..:biggrin

I'll have a few more shipping next week I will PM the guys that are next on the list. I want to thank you all for your support. It will be worth the wait !! I have some other CF things on the works!!!

MARK AND KENDALL I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO MEETING YOU AT VONS ON SAND CANYON AT
6:30 I hope the auto pilot is programed and engaged.
See you FLY GT40:cheers

Wow, that does look really good. :eek How much less does it weigh? (I'm aware the difference is probably insignificant). And if you're going all out on CF, I'm told that two of the easier things to ditch to save weight are the panels behind the seats.

:cheers

Don't know what the original Mac sub enclosure weighs, but this Carbon panel is like 2 pounds.:biggrin :banana

Dave, what panel are you referring to?

Dave, what panel are you referring to?

Behind the seat if you take off the hanging pockets thing, there is a cloth covered panel. I think it's mainly an NVH piece for engine bay racket. Anyways, one of the times I was at Wixom Pfeiffer told me it was an easy way to ditch 30-40 pounds if you just removed em. I'd imagine a large CF panel behind the seat would look cool and weigh next to nothing.

It'd be louder. But it'd probably look good.

Hey, if I ditched that much weight, I could start drinking soda again!:lol

Thanks for the tip. I will look into that.:thumbsup

And if it's too loud, then you're too old.

:thumbsup
