OK guys, I've sold my GT, my spares, and my literature, etc., so I'm out of here. I think the GT is a great car, but it just wasn't for me.

Any of you hundreds of cheapskates that I saved $10,000 or more with my former website FordGTprices.com can still add your name to the small list of guys (sixteen) who have said thanks- details here: CONTRIBUTE TO FORDGTPRICES.COM

And while you're at it, sign up as a member of the great Ford GT Forum that DBK is running here! (I'm not a cheapskate-- I signed up, even though I knew I was selling my car.) REGISTER AS A MEMBER OF FORD GT FORUM

It's been real!

For anyone that doesn't know, Paul is being facetious about calling people cheapskates on the Ford GT Prices front. Sort of. It would certainly be nice if some people who saved the big bucks chose to throw some of that coin his way, because it's pretty easy to see his site alone affected the market price for these cars. Think of that, one guy's website literally making dealers take thousands and thousands off the price of a car! $$$ you would have spent needlessly. It was quite an undertaking, and I can only imagine the cost in time, effort, and webspace absorbed doing it.

Glad to have had you here. Enjoy the world of boring cars again :wink :biggrin

Quite an impressive never done before feat! Amazing what one individual with one website can do, it showed us all the power of one very determined smart individual and the power of the new internet. Centerpunch you saved us all thousands just as Dave says. Whether someone used your site or not, you saved them thousands because of your overall effect on the market. That's how I looked at buying all your best stuff for thousands, I was just paying you back for what you did for me. Made me feel good to do the right thing for someone who helped me attain something I enjoy so much. Makes the whole thing feel right if you know what I mean. Mr. & Mrs. Gulf GT wish you only the best in the future.:cheers

Paul - I paid $300,000 for my GT, I'm happy! :biggrin

Don't just leave us mate. Hang around, talk to us from time to time.

First, We'll miss you Centerpunch!!! We need more Ohio guys like you. Second, as a testimonial to the power of the pricing site, it was the driver that helped me acquire the three cars I purchased. That's right I have two now, but had another identical white/blue that I turned over quickly. The car I turned over served as evidence on his site that a white/blue could be had at a certain price which I leveraged on my second white/blue that I kept for myself. Thanks for the servie you provided this community! Hopefully you will re-think your decision, and buy another GT soon!:cheers

So long Paul, thanks for everything!

Best of luck. Although the website may not have helped those who bought the GT early on in 2005, it certainly helped me. On more than one occasion, I introduced sellers of the GT to Paul's website. It kept me from easily paying 20-25K over sticker.
Cheapskate? I resemble that remark!:biggrin
Thanks for the ride, Paul!

You ROCK Paul. Major effect as I bought my 06 GT at Sticker from West LA Ford dealer in April. Did you get a good price on your GT is the big question?

Wish you good sailing Paul, you have been a credit to the community. If I had used your site to buy my car I would have supported you. Bought mine in 2002 and paid over sticker.

....and paid over sticker.

I hear THAT. I am still trying to average down what I paid for #1! :lol

Best of luck Paul. Please don't be a stranger.

Wish you all the best, Paul. Please check in with us from time to time!:cheers
