Delivery of J0007

Hello All -

I received the call from the Ford GT team on setting up a delivery date/time for my new GT :biggrin

The call actually came as a surprise....my delivery was delayed from a Fall-2017 to a late Spring-2018....I wasn't expecting it so early in 2018. I'll know in a few days a firm date/time of when the fun will begin.

Now, I just wish it wasn't typical January weather here in Michigan late next week. I'm hoping for a delivery day heat wave so I can enjoy the GT for a little bit

Any tips or things to look out for while I take delivery?

*** UPDATE ***

J0007 is safe and sound at home here is SE Michigan. The whole delivery experience was simply awesome! From the sleepless night before to waiting for the Noon arrival of the Reliable big rig. The wait was totally worth it! Now I just need Spring to show up...STAT!!

It's 63F above zero & sunny here in NorCal. My GT is suppose to be delivered summer '19 in the sun when it's 105F. Let's switch times!

No, there is a #0007 for 17. It's at FGTF WHQ.

Gentlemen,

Yes they reset every new model year. Raj told us he’d get serial #1 in the 2nd model year.
