GT350R street price

I am getting one Shelby GT350R up here in Canada at MSRP 91K, when people are paying up to 30k over. Same with the Focus Full pop up here in Canada is $49900 and getting the NFGT. No shortage of new cars to drive soon

I have a 3 month old 350 with 2,500 miles on it. white with blue stripe. black alcantara interior. ceramic pro (so it looks awesome) and no track time. Just highway street driving. Have everything that came with it. It has the track pack so basically its an r except it has back seats and doesn't have carbon wheels. I will sell for 3k over sticker which was 58k so 61k. If anyone is interested please let me know. PM me

BTW DBK can vouch for me as he has bought a car from me and I think he was pretty satisfied that it was represented correctly......

I just got an allocation one and haven't negotiated yet. They have sold one in town to a friend and he told me he paid $7500 over sticker. I expect the same.

that's a good price quite a few have sold for 115-120

I haven't seen an R for <$90,000. $7500 is a relative steal, although I hate the idea of these premiums.

Its only a steal for a brief period. The ford GT is an outlier. Couldn't buy my 95 R when it came out. Tons of race mods and a track proven record later, 21K. Other story, its a Shelby. Well, I've got a 68 GT 350 you can have for less. Time fixes these things, and sometimes quicker than the seller recognizes.

High ADM is only for the privilege of owning the car before everyone else. It was the same for the '05-06 GT. I had to wait until 2006 to buy mine when the ADMs disappeared.

Neither our R's (95 and 00) have even made it back to sticker yet (the 2000 was sold for $10k over). Ask how it went for all the GT500 guys trying to justify paying $10k over in 2007.....

Ford made a lot of GT500s & will be making a lot of GT350Rs. Everyone who wants one at MSRP or under will be able to get one.

Agreed. Patience will be a virtue.

Exactly my point, even the Cobra R's that had VERY limited production (only 250 and 300) didn't retain the premium that was paid, when new, once the initial excitement died down.

Also, the patient ones (2018+) will most likely see an increase in HP and Torque under their hood to battle the upcoming Z28.

Patience

I just negotiated $5K over MSRP, and drove my new black GT350R home from New Jersey last week. Great car!IMG_0803.jpg

Tim, will you be in Naples in November? Florida autocross state championships November 13 in Ft Myers. gulfcoastautocrossers.com. Would be cool to see your new 350R. There will be other hot Mustangs competing. I'll be there (Cayman GTS).

I will be in Naples at that time, however the GT350R will be in Ohio. Send me a PM with the details regarding date, time and location, if we are not on the water, we may stop by. I do have a black GT500 KR in Naples, we may drive it there.

Congrats on the purchase Tim. The Rs still commanding ridiculous prices in the South but seem to be sitting on the lots. However, I'm seeing regular GT350s on Autotrader for $3-5k BELOW MSRP. You can buy a new 2017 cheaper than a used 2016.

Hey BtwoG,
Haven't been on the Forum for a few years. Just picked up a new 05 GT and hopped back on the site. I saw your posting for a GT350R and you are from Atlanta..... I had one tied up at our Ford store in Chamblee (Hennessy Ford) until I found another GT. I run our Honda store in Woodstock the past 24 years. If I can help with one closer to MSRP, let me know and I'll refer you to our GM at the Ford store.
Take care,
Jerry

Tim:
Did you have a gun in your hand? I recently passed on TP 17 GT350 @$500 UNDER list, but the Rs around here are still $20G over.

When the GT350 came out they were $5K+ ADM. The dealership I go to sold their first one for $5K ADM. I can guarantee you that both the GT350 & GT350R will be below MSRP if you wait.
