Hope this gas problem and strike threats are over before we get there. Hate to see this cause inconvenience for everyone who shipped their GT for the parade lap and quality seat time touring before and after the race. Good news is it appears to only be a France issue so fill up before you come back.
They can't keep us away!

So very much looking forward to this trip. Hats off to Ford and DBK as it looks like a ton of effort has gone into this event. (started packing yesterday.....yeah I'm excited)

I think it says the dress for the Ford VIP Hospitality Suite is "smart/casual". I am wearing a sport coat & dressy jeans the whole time. Underwear you can wear for two days if you turn it inside out on day 2! So start packing! I'm thinking DBK will have to break out the dressy t-shirts! LOL. Boy, are we going to have fun!

Chiming in a little belated here, but this is the dream trip of a life time. Thank you so very much DBK!! Looking forward to seeing everyone in less than a couple weeks.
Question: Will we be able to walk the road coarse sometime days before the race?? Just as many drivers have in the past, get that up close intimate study of the situation.

You can walk the track on Friday as there is no race car activity that day - most of the track reverts to public road during the day.

It'll take you a couple of hours as it's over eight miles round - the LMP1 cars can cover that in around three minutes and twenty seconds averaging over 150mph which is mind boggling.
